Costco tire has an appointment system now. I arrived 5 minutes before mine and waited in line for 20 minutes just to give them my keys when I was told it’d be about 1 hour. I hour later, no phone call yet so I walked into the tire area just in time to see my car being pulled into the installation area. Half hour later no one has touched the car. Good prices but painful process. I don’t think the tire area employees understand or care about the appointment process. And I’m a big Costco fan.

I recently had my tires installed at Costco, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I should have known better bringing my almost brand new car to Costco for tire change. Whatever they use to dismount my tires during the installation made damages to my wheels inner lip. Prior to the appointment, my wheels were in perfect condition with no visible scratches or marks, but after the service I noticed clear damages that was not there before. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but the response I received was not very helpful or reassuring. I expected a higher level of care and accountability, especially from a company with Costco’s reputation. While I appreciate the convenience and pricing, the lack of attention to detail and caring in handling customers car has left me frustrated. I don’t recommend this tire center to anyone that care about your vehicle.

Do not buy your tires here. They say they are under warranty but they take no appointments for repairs and make you wait for hours to do a simple patch job. I came when they opened as they told me to just to get here and be told it would be over three hours to wait. I’ve been told by a mechanic that my ties are already deteriorating after 30,000 miles.

Competitive prices, but terrible customer service. I had an appointment and was told it would take 1 hour 30 minutes. It ended up taking over 2 hours, and no one bothered to notify me when the car was ready — I had to go check myself. Staff was rude and dismissive, which made the wait even more frustrating. If you’re going to miss your own timelines, at least communicate. Prices are competitive, but the lack of basic courtesy and communication makes this a pretty poor experience overall.
